The ski basin of the Etna counts two areas, North Etna or Piano Provenzana in Linguaglossa and South Etna in Nicolosi. The north ski resort has 3 ski-lift and a chair lift. The south ski resort has more difficult ski slopes, a gondolas and 4 ski-lift. It is also the perfect starting point for excursions to the top craters.
Another important thing are the small costs for a winter holiday on the Mount Etna. 30 € per person for the daily skipass, 20€ for half day skipass. The ski equipment rental costs about 20€ and at the same price is possible to take group lessons.
